The new regulation implementing the recently passed Ley de Migración has not been published yet. Although there have been numerous internet posts claiming updated information and changes, do not be confused by them. Until the new regulation is published in the DOF, the old laws, rules and terms are still in effect. The fees have increased effective the first of the year.
Derecho por Servicios Migratorios Ordinarios (D.S.M.O) lists the updated fees (in NMP) as of Jan 1, these fees are structured using the current Prórroga and Refrendo terms. The following is a recap of the most used procedures:
Procedure 2011 / 2012 Changing from FMM to FM2/3 N$491 / 550 Prórroga for FM3 N$1294 / 1451 Refrendo for FM2 N$2801 / 3140 Declaration of Inmigrado N$3414 / 3828 Processing fee for Inmigrado N$892 / 1000 Registro Nacional de Extranjeros N$669 / 750
