To be honest I think it would be tough living on 1300 per month at least for me. Cancun is not a cheap place to live. Tourist areas are not cheap. I think you will be able to get a small place with no a.c. for maybe $500 or maybe a little less . It will be nothing to right home about That leave $800 Do you have you medical covered or electric,phone, food, transportation, taxes if you owe any, entertainment, eating out once in awhile, and on and on. You can do I guess but where you are looking to live it might be a stretch.
I was talking about the legal requirement not what it might actually cost
