Allyn Hunt's non-fiction has appeared in a number of newspapers and magazines in the United States and Latin America.
He was editor and publisher of the Guadalajara Reporter for 20 years, wrote a column of opinion for the Mexico City News for 15 years, and contributed to the Cox News Service and The Los Angeles Magazine.
His fiction has won the Transatlantic Short Story Prize, appeared in the Best American Short Stories, and other anthologies and publications.
He resides near Jocotepec, Jalisco, in "delicious" remote mountainside privacy.
Hunt has lived in Mexico since 1963.
