Julia Taylor

Julia Taylor once worked in wild salmon conservation in the Pacific Northwest. In 2001 she became a teacher when she moved to Mexico with her husband. She is the instructor of a certification course for teachers of English as a second language in Cuernavaca where they have made their home.

She and her husband have recently celebrated the birth of their first son and she has temporarily suspended her teaching. She hopes that her newly developed website www.home-sweet-mexico.com - for those who want to live, work, or retire in Mexico -- can generate enough sales of her e-book Mexico: The Trick is Living Here to allow her to remain a stay-at-home mom.

When she isn't writing about Mexico, she enjoys reading and bird watching from their front yard.
