Banana Bread: Panqué de Plátano
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 C. flour
- 1 tsp. baking Soda
- 1 tsp. baking Powder
- 2 sticks of butter (200 grs)
- 2 eggs
- 6 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/ C. chopped nuts
Preparation:
Sift together the flour, baking powder and baking soda.
Cream the butter with the sugar until smooth and fluffy then add the egss one at a time beating well after each addition.
Alternately add the dry ingredients and the banana a bit at a time, mixing with a spoon until all the ingredients are well blended.
Add the chopped nuts last.
Bake in a greased and floured loaf pan in a 175°C oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean (approximately 1 hour).
