"Pomegranate" by Jorge Argueta
La Granada

Ríete reina
Enana y gorda
Ríete reina
Vestida a veces
de verde
rojo
amarillo
o de morado
Ríete reina
Ríete
fresca y roja
granada
ríete conmigo
ríete de todo el mundo
Déjame escuchar
en mis labios
y en mi lengua
tu sonrisa

Ayyy qué rico morderte
granada
Pero más rico
Es sentir que me muerdes
también
Pomegranate

Laugh queen
tiny and plain
voluptuous queen
Laugh
dressed up
sometimes in green
red
yellow
or purple
Laugh
round and fresh
Laugh pomegranate
Laugh with me
while I am biting you
Laugh with
the whole world
let me hear
your smile
on my lips
on my tongue

Oh how tasty
it is to bite you
my very dearest
Granada
And oh how delicious
to know
you bite me
too.
